About Lab
Overview:
A service-level agreement (SLA) defines the level of service you expect from a vendor, laying out the metrics by which service is measured, as well as remedies or penalties should agreed-on service levels not be achieved. It is a critical component of any technology vendor contract.
In this lab, we will determine services SLA uptime percentages and then calculate the application composite SLA uptime percentage.
Our example application consists of these Azure services. We will not go in to deep architectural configuration and considerations, the intention here is to give an high level example.
- App service: To host the application.
- Azure AD B2C: To authenticate user logins and manage profiles.
- Application Gateway: To manage application access, scaling and scaling.
- Azure SQL Database: To store application data.
- What Will You Learn ?
-
- Learn about Azure Service Level Agreement
- Learn to check SLA of different services offered by Azure
- Learn to how to calculate SLA of the solution based on the services used in the architecture
